Daily Dose of Inspired Wisdom for Quote Lovers.

On this day in 1932, Amelia Earhart took off from
Newfoundland on the flight
that made her the first woman to fly solo across the
Atlantic. She went on to become world-traveled speaker and
one of the most notable figures of the first half of the 20th
century. But, Earhart remains best known for what we don’t know about her. While
attempting to fly around the world in 1937, her plane vanished in the South
Pacific. No trace was ever found. Ms. Earhart once observed, “Courage is the
price life extracts for peace.” That’s a point well made. Too often we’re held
back by silly, irrational fears that cause us to put life on hold. Of course
it’s never wise to take foolhardy risks. But, if you’re looking for a way to
give yourself a quick boost, look life squarely in the eye and do the courageous
thing. It’s the peaceful way to live.
SUCCESS IS A BYPRODUCT OF COURAGE, FAITH, AND HARD WORK…
“All happiness depends on courage and
work.”
Honoré de Balzac
“In adversity, a man is saved by hope.”
Menander
“Let your courage guide your future.”
Finlay McKenna
“Courage is contagious.”
Billy Graham
“Courage is being scared to death -- and saddling up anyway.”
John Wayne
“Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small
ones; and when you have laboriously accomplished your daily task, go to sleep in
peace. God is awake.”
Victor Hugo
Today’s Bible Verse
Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the
size of the task, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or
forsake you.
1 Chronicles 28:20 NLT
