this day in 1985, Michael Jordan was named Rookie of the Year in the NBA. Jordan
went on to have one of the truly remarkable careers in the history of
professional sports. One of Jordan’s great assets was his self-confidence. He
noted, “Obviously there have
been times when I’ve failed. But there have never been times when I thought
I would fail.” The rest of us should be like Mike.
